Goals, Rules & Kintsugi
Introductions, group guidelines, and the philosophy that shapes everything ahead.
Restoring Peace is a thirteen-week small group journey for anyone facing the end of a marriage, built on honesty, community, and grace.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with gold, so the cracks aren't hidden — they're highlighted. The repaired piece isn't weaker for having broken. It's more valuable.
That's the heart of this program. We won't ask you to pretend the break didn't happen, and we won't ask whose fault it was. We'll help you name the pain honestly, do the hard work of healing, and trust that grace is big enough to make you whole again — not the same as before, but whole.
"You are not a failure. Your pain is real and valid — and healing is possible."
Every group runs on a small set of shared commitments, so that everyone in the room feels safe enough to be honest.
What's said in group stays in group. Full stop.
Every path here is different. We hold space for all of them — betrayal, guilt, and everything between.
Real healing starts with telling the truth — to the group, and to yourself.
We're all hurting. If it isn't kind and helpful, we let it go unsaid.
Each week takes on one real, specific piece of recovery — in order, at a pace that lets the group actually process it together.
